Tender description

The purpose of this PIN is to advise potential suppliers of an industry day being held in respect of The Authority's requirement for the provision of unscheduled transport services for the collection and delivery of Aviation and Marine fuels within the mainland United Kingdom, excluding Northern Ireland. The Defence Fuels Acquisition Programme (DFAP) is an organization based at MoD Abbeywood in Bristol. It is responsible for the project management and contract management of a variety of Defence Fuel contracts. A requirement will arise at the end 2018 for the provision of a Road Loading contract to transport a variety of fuel types (mainly aviation) around the UK by road. To ensure that a healthy competitive process is undertaken and in the interests of gaining best value for money for Defence, DFAP is seeking companies who potentially may be interested in participating in the procurement process. The activity pertaining to this procurement process will begin with an Industry Engagement Day held at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom in Shrivenham, Oxfordshire on 31 Jan 18.
