Repair and maintenance services of building installations

Tender description

North Kesteven District Council requires a contractor to undertake a planned preventative maintenance, emergency out-of-hours service and a cleaning service programme at the main offices on Kesteven Street, Sleaford and other named buildings in the North Kesteven District area. The service comprises the provision of all related services, resources, equipment and consumables necessary to perform a planned preventative maintenance service to a variety of building services. This includes: A— Heating Systems B— Air Handling Plant C— Water Systems D— Electrical Wiring E— Emergency Lighting F— Fire Alarm G— Lightening Conductors H— Lifts I— Catering Equipment J— Fixed Electrical Equipment K— Security Systems L— Internal & External Doors M— Civic Suite Partitions N— Car Park Barriers O— RYOBI Blower Vac P— Fire Extinguishers Q— Glazing (Cleaning) R— Grounds Maintenance S— Entrance Mats (Cleaning) T— Drainage Systems U— Standby Generator V— CCTV W— Panic Alarms X— Fire and Intruder Alarm (Monitoring) The supplier will also be required to undertake first line response to emergencies, which includes: — An emergency out of hours call out service, ensuring that any defect repairs have been undertaken and/or equipment and building is made safe and secure. — An out-of-hours security and fire alarm system monitoring, informing named Council staff where an activation has taken place.
