Tender description
The Employment and Skills service has a responsibility to improve the wellbeing of Barnsley citizens through opportunities of employment or education and training. It has responsibility for the following outcomes to meet the council’s core value of a thriving and vibrant economy; • reduction of those falling into the NEET (not in employment, education or training) • promoting the uptake of apprenticeships • supporting the reduction of adult worklessness, in particular improving employment opportunity for the most vulnerable adults and young people • increasing the skills of the working age population Keywords: Portal, Employee
