Tender description
In 2016, Ervia completed a competitive tender process for a mobile survey solution, including support and maintenance to be used by Ervia and its subsidiaries, including Irish Water and Gas Networks Ireland. The contract was awarded to Trimble. Ervia has a requirement for additional licences for the mobile survey solution, additional survey capability and further development and integration of the solution on the existing platform. Ervia intends to award this contract on the basis of the negotiated procedure without a prior call for competition pursuant to Article 50(c) of Directive 2014/25/EU. The contract can only be performed by Trimble because the contract requires both interoperability with the current solution and further licences from Trimble who own the exclusive rights to the software.
