Tender description

Procurement of Direct Payment Support Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of Direct Payment Support. Project Description Swindon Borough Council is looking to procure a service-user led Direct Payment Support service for adults eligible for social care. The service will include the following functions: • Information and advice on Direct Payments • Training • Facilitating peer support • Recruitment and payroll support • Managed Accounts Full details relating to the Service are provided in the tender documents. Contract Period The contract will be initially for a period of 24 months commencing 1st April 2018 with the option to extend for a further 24 months and again for another 24 months, subject to satisfactory performance and budget availability. Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 22nd January 2018, 1400 hrs UK Local time by hardcopy to Caroline Gaulton only. The Council’s responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded as attachments on the project webpage attachments section.
