Tender description

The council’s requirement under this contract is for a software system and database to manage the council’s asset portfolio which includes operational properties such as offices, depots and libraries, as well as non-operational properties such as shops, community halls and industrial units. The management functionality of the system should include the ability to centralise all the commercial property data and information into a single store to significantly improve the way data and information is accessed, searched, maintained, displayed and integrated with other back office systems such as Document Management using Objective and GIS. It should present a single view on each property comprising its total asset management and cost perspective which allows the Council to make strategic portfolio decisions as to whether or not to continue to maintain or remove the asset.
