Cornwall Council is seeking to appoint contractors to a framework agreement for capital construction — Minor works for a term of 4 years, commencing March 2018. This multi-supplier Lot of up to 6 contractors will handle capital construction contracts minor works - Employer's design (with or without contractor design portions) - with an individual contract value of 2 000 000 GBP or less within the county of Cornwall and Plymouth; The works will comprise building and construction works including new build, extensions and refurbishments or works of a similar nature. Call offs under the framework will be on the basis of either; mini competition or direct award. Those appointed to the framework may be asked to provide works and services to all departments and wholly owned companies of the council and potentially to other public sector bodies (“Other Organisations”) in Cornwall. The term of this agreement is intended to be for 4 years, commencing in March 2018 It will comprise one multi-supplier lot of up to 6 contractors. This lot will handle capital construction contracts minor works - Employer's design (with or without contractor design portions) - with an individual contract value equal to or less than 2 000 000 GBP within the county of Cornwall and Plymouth; The total estimated aggregated framework agreement value is up to a maximum value of 250 000 000 GBP across the term. The works will consist of building and construction works including new build, extensions and refurbishments or other works of a similar nature. Call offs under the framework will be on the basis of either; mini competition or direct award. The basis of which is set out in the procurement documentation. Tenderers appointed to the framework may be asked to provide works and services to all departments and wholly owned companies of the council and potentially to other public sector bodies (“Other Organisations”) in Cornwall.
