RFQ for Consultancy Services North Lincolnshire Local Plan (2017 – 2036) Sustainability Appraisal and Habitats Regulations Assessments

North Lincolnshire Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to undertake an essential element of work that is required to support the new North Lincolnshire Local Plan (2017 to 2036). The Sustainability Appraisal (incorporating Strategic Environmental Assessment) and Habitat Regulations Assessment (HRA) are integral to and inform the North Lincolnshire Local Plan as it is developed. The consultants will be required to undertake the Sustainability Appraisal (SA), incorporating the requirements of the Strategic Environmental Assessment or ‘SEA’ Directive, in order to accompany the timely delivery of the North Lincolnshire Local Plan and assess if sustainable development is achievable. They will also be required to undertake Habitat Regulations Assessment of the North Lincolnshire Local Plan Keywords: Habitat Regulations, Strategic Environment Assessment, Sustainability Appraisal
