Design, supply and manage installation of security fence and gate at The Wharf Derby

Tender description

The Rail Accident Investigation Branch requires the car park of their office (The Wharf, Stores Road, Derby, DE21 4BA) to be made secure by the erection of a suitable perimeter fence and access gate. This tender project is for the design, supply and management of the whole process, including (if required) the securing of necessary permissions, and the clearing of all shrubbery and foliage to enable the works to be undertaken and to avoid the security provided from being undermined. The works required include a full site survey and to complete a proposal for secure compound around the boundary of the property known as The Wharf, with cost options for differing styles of fence, different types of manual or electrically operated gate and options for how the gate is to be activated. This will include details on height and depth of the secure fencing. It will also include a breakdown of all cost such as design and project management, materials, labour, planning permission, all other agencies or authorities and potentially interested parties required, excluding RAIB's own landlord. A detailed description of when milestone payments should be due throughout the project is also required.
