Tender description

— Cleaning services to the common areas — floors, walls, surfaces and common areas of C&C schemes that are the landlord's responsibility; — Annual deep cleans to supported housing blocks, all sheltered blocks except 1 and 1 general needs block (28 blocks in all); — Cleaning of bin stores, bins, communal kitchens, bathrooms and toilets; — Window cleaning of communal areas internally and externally and residents' windows externally. C&C offer inspirational, person-centred care and support to a number of people, including: — Frail older people who require personal care or care with nursing. — People living with dementia. — Active people aged over 55 living in sheltered and extra-care housing. — Working age adults living in our rented properties. — People with mental health support needs. Today, we are the housing provider ‘where inspiration lives’. We aim to be inspirational in everything we do and to promise our residents and service users the very best service. We provide 1 334 units of accommodation separated into 3 categories: General needs accommodation; Supported housing; Sheltered housing. Size of blocks: 48 blocks have 2-10 units; 17 have 11-80 units; 1 has 140 units; 1 has 161 units and 1 has 218 units. This tender covers the provision of: — Cleaning services to the common areas — floors, walls, surfaces and common areas of C&C schemes that are the landlord's responsibility; (68 blocks of varying sizes); — Annual deep cleans to supported housing blocks, all sheltered blocks except one and one general needs block (28 blocks in all); — Cleaning of bin stores, bins, communal kitchens, bathrooms and toilets; — Window cleaning of communal areas internally and externally and residents' windows externally. The tenderers will also be asked to price and submit method statements for vacant property cleaning, guest room cleaning and bulk rubbish removal. However these areas of work will not be guaranteed as part of the contract and may be covered by other service providers.
