Leeds City Council (“the Council”) is looking to procure and implement a software solution to improve, manage and better support Catering Leeds. The service provides catering to a number of primary schools, academies, nurseries and day centres. The current financial pressures facing the Council and the need to manage and respond to customer requirements with a reduced workforce requires the council’s managers to work more efficiently and effectively. Currently there is no single system to manage Catering Leeds business operations and Council staff spend considerable time and effort, using manual processes and often duplicating effort recording information on multiple systems. A single software solution is required to reduce duplication, streamline processes and make accessing and reporting information much simpler and more efficient. Catering Leeds is the provider of choice for a large number of schools and centres and is looking at ways to innovate, improve and expand its provision of catering service. To achieve these goals Catering Leeds is looking to manage the catering operation more effectively and efficiently with the best use of technology available. The focus is to procure a solution that will assist Catering Leeds in the management of its service. We are keen to seek information from organisations who can offer expertise in this field.
