Community Based Sexual Health Services in GPs - "GP Partners"

Tender description

Umbrella, the sexual health service for Birmingham and Solihull is one of the largest regional integrated sexual health services in the UK. The service is run by University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB), and includes NHS clinics working in partnership with community-based organisations, charities and health service providers, with the aim of improving the sexual health and wellbeing of the people of Birmingham and Solihull. By establishing an extensive network of primary care facilities in Birmingham only, Umbrella aims to transform where care is accessed to ensure sexual health services are more widely available. With this aim UHB is seeking to appoint GP entities to: - Dispense and administer LARCS; and/or - Dispense and administer Chlamydia Self-Sampling Kits An initial engagement event for potential providers was held on 9 November 2017. We will be holding 2 further engagement events for potential providers at the Tally Ho Conference and Banqueting Centre, Pershore Road, Birmingham, B5 7RN on Thursday 7th December.
