Tender description

Provision of heart stabilisation devices for use during off pump cardiopulmonary bypass surgical procedures. Assorted accessories as may be required will also be included as part of the procurement. Any hardware or re-usable devices as may be required for the use of proposed systems must be supplied ‘Free on Loan’ for the duration of the contract. It is envisaged that the Board will require to be in possession of 4 sets of hardware / reusable devices. It is estimated that off pump procedures will account for approximately 30 to 50 procedures each year. It is the Board intention to have a sole supplier fro the off pump devices. The evaluation score basis will be 70 % price and 30 % clinical. Trials of devices that have not previously been used in the hospital will be required.
