Tender description
To conduct a comprehensive independent research and data gathering function to actively assess tourism data and carry out visitor surveys to seek to establish, as accurately as possible, the causality of any variations in the Tourism Economy of the National Park and in particular, the extent to which these variations are due to the construction of the development. The Tourism Impact Review (TIR) is being commissioned by North York Moors National Park Authority and will be jointly appointed with Sirius Minerals. The overall objective of the TIR is to investigate whether there is an impact to the tourism economy of the National Park (NP) and its influence area (IA) which has arisen as a result of the construction of the mine and associated infrastructure.
