London Borough of Hillingdon ("the Council") currently operates a hosted system that delivers Planning, Planning Enforcement, Planning Appeals, Building Control and Local Land Charges which integrates with other service areas to enable relevant consultations: Trees, Planning Policy, Highways. Planning Specialists, Waste, Police. Its prime purpose is to manage the planning application process electronically, but it also supports related areas. The Planning Application Search facility is one of the top visited website pages and now has a new mapped based feature so residents/councillors can easily see the applications in their area. Residents can search and access planning applications, view the associated documentation and make/submit any representation on the application; they are also able to view the appeals register and enforcement register. The London Borough of Hillingdon is looking to procure a hosted or cloud solution that delivers against two key areas; A back office solution for officers to use to receive, log, process, produce reports/letters/decisions and monitor applications. Including a mobile working solution. A website system for the residents/public to view applications, submit representations, submit applications and request site inspections.
