Building Façade works (Phase 1 for Skelton Townscape Heritage Project) involving the restoration of the Victorian Skelton High Street, concentrating on property facades and the public realm of the High Street and its environs. The properties are exclusively two-storey. Work on the property facades may involve replacement of shopfronts in timber, including some separate doorways to upper floor flats/ storage areas, removal of rendering, making good and re-pointing, other work to first floors including replacement of windows, repairs to lintels and sills, repair and replacement of rainwater goods and general building work.
