Tree-maintenance services

Tender description

The County Council requires provision for Tree Maintenance and Arboriculture requirements to be undertaken around the County. The single supplier provision will carry out the planned maintenance schemes in Rugby, Nuneaton and Bedworth locations. It will also provide support to the Council's in-house team in completing its own annual maintenance schemes across the County and will provide a general response service to assist in times of high demand and emergency. The initial contract term will be 2 year however the Authority reserves the right to extend the contract by further periods not exceeding 24 months (24 months being the maximum available extension period) at the discretion of the Authority based on the contract performance of the successful supplier. The Council estimates an annual spend of approximately 110 000 GBP, resulting in the 450 000 GBP estimated total but this is not a guaranteed level. Work can be seasonal and use may go up or down. The Procurement exercise will follow an Open Procedure with Bidders being required to complete a Supplier Questionnaire.
