Highways Maintenance, Improvements, and Street Lighting

Tender description

The London Borough of Sutton (Sutton Council) is seeking tender bids from suitably qualified organisations for the provision of Highways Maintenance, Improvements & Street Lighting. The contract will initially be for a period of 7 years commencing on 1st April 2018 with the option to extend the contract for a further 3 years,in 12-monthly intervals, at the discretion of the Council. It is the opinion of the London Borough of Sutton that TUPE will apply to this Contract . The Council shall not be bound to accept the lowest cost or any tender, and reserves the right to accept all or part of your tender. The award of contract shall be based on the most economically advantageous tender submitted. Deadline for receipt of tender bids is 18th December 2017.This contract is for use principally for the London Borough of Sutton London Borough of Sutton; the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames may choose to use the contract and the associated prices at its own discretion giving the provider reasonable notice.
