Further Competition under ESPO Framework Agreement No. 256_16, Lot L2

Tender description

The work to be carried out is detailed below: - • Collect all necessary equipment (pole bracket, box with cut-out, pre wired LED lanterns and CMS nodes) from Mountsorrel Depot or Croft Depot • Provide basic layout Traffic Management as required by "ADDENDUM TO APPENDIX 1/17 TRAFFIC SAFETY AND MANAGEMENT" • Disconnect existing EME overhead pole brackets for transfer to new equipment. • Take down and remove to customers skips in Mountsorrel depot existing O/H pole bracket, box, cable and lantern. • Install new free issue pole bracket, box, cut-out, LED lantern (0° Tilt) and CMS node no more than 6m above ground level and no less than 1.3m from pole terminals.(In general the new lanterns should be sited in positions where the Customers direct workforce can maintain the lanterns in the future, without seeking assistance from the electricity provider) • Install new fuse block and transfer electrical connection then connect/commission new equipment. • Record the CMS ID against location description and report back to LCC. The specification will be the Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW), Volume 1: Specification for Highway Works. Please note that further competition is invited, and a subsequent award will be made, in accordance with the terms and conditions of ESPO's overarching framework agreement 256_16 - except as may be varied herein.
