Supply and Installation of Direct Shear Box Testing system THE UNIVERSITY OF BIRMINGHAM INVITES TENDERS FOR THE SUPPLY OF THE FOLLOWING: Direct Shear Box Testing System for saturated and unsaturated samples o Types of control required by the device include: i. Axial Load ii. Axial Stress iii. Axial Displacement iv. Shear Load v. Shear Stress vi. Shear Displacement vii. Consolidation force of 25kN or above viii. Shear force of 10kN or above ix. Pore pressure or back pressure of 1MPa or above x. Ability to handle multiple sample sizes from 75mm and above xi. Saturated and Dry Materials xii. Volume Accuracy
