Tender description

Jisc wishes to enter into a sole supply contract with an external Public Affairs agency. The successful agency is required to work with Jisc to raise the profile of the organisation with key stakeholders and help ensure its future sustainability. The contract will be for an initial period of 2 years with an option to extend for up to a further 2 years in annual increments. As a publicly funded organisation, it is essential that Jisc’s funders, owners, and key individuals within government, parliament and the sectors we work with, understand the value and impact of our work. Jisc is a registered charity working on behalf of UK higher education, further education and skills to champion the use of digital technologies. Over the last decade we have evolved and as a company we are now known as Jisc. Further information about Jisc is available at: http://www.jisc.ac.uk/aboutus.aspx. The tender documents will only be made available via our e-procurement site https://procontract.due-north.com/Login. Interested parties will need to be registered with this portal to access the information and respond to the opportunity. In addition, feel free to respond to this email address expressing your interest and we can notify once the opportunity has been published. Please Note that if your company is not already registered as a user of the portal it is necessary first to register as a user of the portal. Once this registration is accepted by Jisc, a username and password will be issued, and should be used for all future accesses to the portal. Note also that Jisc will reject a bidder’s registration if there is already a registration on the portal for that bidder. Please remember also that this initial registration is not a registration for this opportunity, it is only the registration of the supplier on the portal. When registering, it is recommended that a generic mailbox (such as sales@supplier) is set up, so that information from the system can be sent to more than one representative at the company. A host of detailed Supplier User Guides on how to use the Pro-Contract e-tendering portal have been attached to this opportunity and can be accessed via the opportunity on the portal. To do this please navigate to ‘My Opportunities’, select Jisc from the drop down list, select the ‘Contract ID’ followed by the title of the relevant opportunity and then select View ITT. A Zip folder titled Supplier Guides is then available within the attachments section. These user guides can also be downloaded from the portal front page (the very bottom of the right hand column) at: https://tenders.jisc.ac.uk When the username and password are received, it is necessary then to login, search for the opportunity and register your interest. Once you have expressed interest/ intent, please proceed past/ through this stage to locate the ITT and the SoR document (attachment to the ITT). This document contains all the information regarding this opportunity and the questions in which we require bidders to respond against.
