Tender description

Umbrella, the sexual health service for Birmingham and Solihull is 1 of the largest regional integrated sexual health services in the UK. The service is run by University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB), and includes NHS clinics working in partnership with community-based organisations, charities and health service providers, with the aim of improving the sexual health and well-being of the people of Birmingham and Solihull. By establishing an extensive network of primary care facilities in Birmingham only, Umbrella aims to transform where care is accessed to ensure sexual health services are more widely available. With this aim UHB is seeking to appoint GP entities to: — Dispense and administer LARCS; and/or — Dispense and administer Chlamydia Self-Sampling Kits. The service elements within Lot 1 GPs include: — Dispense and administer LARCS — Intrauterine Devices/Systems (IUD/IUS). — Dispense and administer LARCS — Sub dermal contraceptive implants (SDIs). The service elements within lot 2 GPs include: — Dispense Chlamydia Self-Sampling Kits.
