Westminster Schools Expansion Programme

Tender description

Westminster City Council will be procuring a main contractor to undertake works as part of its Schools Expansion Programme, in particular a courtyard infill and additional form entry. WCC is therefore seeking expressions of interest from suitable contractors with experience of working within the education sector, specifically in a occupied school environment, and on logistically complex inner city developments. The estimated value of the construction works is £4.5 - £4.8m. At this stage it is envisaged that the procurement will be undertaken on the basis of a 2-stage Design and Build contract, subject to the Council's approval process prior to going out to tender. The Council's timescales for this procurement may require a PQQ to be undertaken around the Christmas period with ITT early 2018, so interested contractors should bear this in mind when expressing an interest and confirm that they would have the capacity to participate.
