Replacement of Existing Platform Access Lift with Automatic Passenger Lift at Brookfield Health Sciences Building, UCC

Tender description

The existing lift consists of a semi-automatic wheelchair platform access lift serving two external and one internal level at Brookfield Health Science building. . The Client, University College Cork intends to replace this lift with a fully automatic passenger lift to meet Modern Standards and in full compliance with all current Irish and European Regulations including the European Lift Directive. The project shall take into account the General Principles of Prevention and Schedule 1 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013. The project shall include the following works;  Removal and disposal of existing lift.  Installation of new lift.  Installation of electrics excluding power supply cables Alterations to the surrounding areas and associated builders works will be carried out by the UCC.
