Interpretation, translation and cross cultural service to support the Wexford Refugee Resettlement Programme.

Tender description

Successful tenderers will be required work in partnership with local service providers and the Wexford Interagency Resettlement Working Group to support the inclusion of the refugees in mainstream service provision. They will be required to provide a suitable translation, interpretation and cross cultural service, or provide a suitable translator, interpreter and cross-cultural worker, to provide an interpretation, translation and cross-cultural support to include the following: 1) Liaise with and support the resettlement worker appointed by the Wexford Interagency Resettlement Working Group in the implementation of their duties and provide interpretation, translation and cross-cultural understanding support to the resettlement worker as they assist the refugees during their duties, particularly in terms of their access to local services and state support. 2) Provide high quality interpretation and translation from Arabic to English and from English to Arabic. 3) Assist refugees in completing application and registration forms. The contract will run for 1 year with a fixed price with up to 3 one year extension options.
