Award of Provision of supported housing for vulnerable young people who are looked After by the Local Authority and who would otherwise be homeless

AWARD ONLY The Local Authority has a statutory duty to provide care and accommodation until they reach the age of 18. Providing continuation Accommodation until the young people have reached their 18th birthdays. After their birthdays the must work with the leaving care team and arrange the tenancy's in their own right. There are individual placement agreements in place for these placements and there is a wider procurement exercise in progress for supported accommodation for under 25's. The accommodation has a standard cost of £475 per person per week for the 8 placements with the addition of staffing support for 2 young people at £15 per hour.
