We wish to invite expressions of interest for the provision of food to vulnerable families across the Borough of Trafford. Trafford Assist is Trafford's Local Welfare Assistance scheme designed to help residents: • Meet immediate short-term needs in an emergency or as a result of a disaster. • Return to or remain in the community and help them to live independently in their own home. Nutritional food parcels are based on the size of the family and dietary requirements with and parcels are designed to feed a family for 3 days. This can be extended in certain circumstances and therefore home delivery (as well as a collection service) must be available. We welcome single provider and other collaborative approaches as we look to develop the scheme to offer the maximum support for residents.
