Tender description

Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to award one or more contracts for the provision of grounds maintenance services. This includes (but is not limited to) grounds maintenance including litter removal, tree maintenance and winter gritting of roads and footpaths. The requirement has been split into 3 Lots as follows: Lot 1 — Provision of Grounds Maintenance Services to Heartlands Hospital Lot 2 — Provision of Grounds Maintenance Services to Solihull Hospital Lot 3 — Provision of Grounds Maintenance Services to Good Hope Hospital One contract will be awarded per Lot. The Trust reserves the right to award none or any of the Lot's. Provision of Grounds Maintenance services to Heartlands Hospital. Please note the following: ‘The Authority is currently considering a merger with University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB), which is subject to Board decision and regulatory approval. It is likely that, if approved, the merger will be effected through the acquisition of the Authority by UHB. If the transaction takes place during the bid process or after contract award, UHB will be substituted for the Authority.
