Invite to Market Engagement Event

Tender description

Gloucestershire County Council is developing its commissioning approach for the provision of community and accommodation based services for vulnerable adults, young people and care leavers. Our current contract arrangements are due to end in September 2018. We would like to invite parties to a market engagement event, to find out more about our ambitious plans, talk to lead commissioners and to contribute your views on the housing related support for both community and accommodation based services to help develop future commissioning approaches. The event will give participants the opportunity to hear the voices of the users of housing related support services, celebrate good practice as well as consider the challenges and opportunities to improve pathways and the users experience in Gloucestershire. Given the Governments new legislation (which comes into force from April 2018), for services to all leaving care young people being extended up to the age of 25 years, it is very timely that any new tendering process will be designed in partnership with Children’s services commissioners to develop our leaving care accommodation offer. The event will also reflect on how we can also support the objectives of Adult’s services commissioners. There will be restricted numbers for the event so you must reserve a place by contacting louise.clack@gloucestershire.gov.uk with names, titles and organisation for all those wishing to attend by midday on Friday 17th November 2017.
