Tender description
This is the second PIN release for the F-SEWSS and MEWSS–L Systems which forms part of the Maritime Electronic Warfare Programme (MEWP). The purpose of this advert is to announce DE&S are planning to issue a 2nd Request For Information (RFI), in the form of a questionnaire as part of its market research. The purpose of the 2nd request is that it has become evident that not all suppliers within the market were aware of the original Request for Information and therefore, the questionnaire is unchanged from that issued in the initial/first PIN. To enable MOD to gain a better understanding of capabilities within the whole market and level of technology maturity it is essential that as many suppliers as possible are consulted. This RFI encompasses all Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), from early developmental considerations to Commercial and Military Off The Shelf (COTS/MOTS) items and products available now or the near future. If you wish to be sent the Questionnaire please submit your request to DESShipsComrcl-MCS-F-SEWSS@mod.gov.uk Please Note that Suppliers who responded to the original RFI are not required to respond to this second Request as their responses have been collated. This 2nd request is purely to capture the views of that section of the market that hasn't responded, to enable the whole of the markets views and responses to be taken forward in formulating the requirement. Respondents to this PIN or the 1st PIN will be invited to provide a Point of Contact to be informed of future F-SEWSS related PIN until the end of calendar year 2019. New respondents will also be provided the opportunity to attend a 1-1 discussion with the MOD Delivery Team.
