Contract for the Provision of Housekeeping, Waste and Portering to the Victoria and Albert Museum and Associated Sites

Tender description

The V&A wishes to procure a professional supplier to provide housekeeping, waste, portering and ancillary services across three strategic sites within its estate. These sites include space dedicated to: public spaces, galleries, lecture theatres, meeting rooms, retail outlets, catering outlets, stores, workshops, studios, offices, courtyards and gardens offering a combined gross area of approximately 100,000 m², and include both grade 1 and grade 2 listed buildings which are of exceptional interest and international importance. The V&A requires a robust, flexible and economic solution to the delivery of the services. The initial contract term is five years, with the scope to extend up to a total of a further two years. Please note the advertised value is for the extended 84 month period and includes scope to extend to additional sites as and when they are added to the V&A estate; we estimate the 5 year value at current service levels to be GBP6600000.
