Contract for the Development of Key Quality and Safety Management System Processes for RCSI Hospitals

Tender description

Following the formation of the RCSI Hospitals Group, the Contracting Authority now requires the development of group-wide Quality and Safety Management System processes to ensure that its system is reflective of the Group structure. The outputs of this process-mapping exercise will reflect the Group governance structure and will provide key policies and procedures for the Group’s Quality and Safety Management System. An effective Quality and Safety Management System is central to the provision of high quality, patient-centred care. To ensure that the Contracting Authority’s quality and patient safety management systems are maximised, the Contracting Authority wishes to develop its key quality and patient safety processes incorporating the use of a group-wide Quality Management Information System (QMIS). The Contracting Authority intends to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced service provider to undertake the specific process mapping activities in relation to the QMIS, namely the identification, development and agreement of relevant processes in use within the Group and the formulation of specifically-developed procedures for use in all of the Contracting Authority’s constituent hospitals.
