AHDB Exports are looking for a Greek/English speaking Representative to cover the Greek and Cypriot market, maintaining contact and working jointly with beef and lamb exporters, agents, representatives, importers, distributors, food service operators and retailers. Bidders must show within their proposal deep knowledge of working with beef and lamb exporters within the Greek and Cypriote markets, and to have strong general knowledge of the market. This project is for 3 years starting on the 1.6.2017, ending on the 31.5.2020. There will be a break clause after each year in which time AHDB will assess performance of the representative. The budget is indicative 18 000-26 000 per annum EUR. The AHDB Beef and Lamb representative requirements for the Greek and Cypriot markets include but are not limited to: Liaise with the UK based AHDB export team, Maintain contact and work jointly with beef and lamb exporters, agents, representative, importers, distributors, food service operators and retailers, Representation of the English beef and lamb sectors to Greek authorities and UK overseas authorities such as DIT, Embassies, Consulates and the High Commission, Nicosia, Development and delivery of a yearly plan following agreement with AHDB Head of Exports, Marketing support of English beef and lamb covering the following activities, Production of promotional material, Brand development, Event organisation, Trade, Food service, Gastronomy and Retail support, including translations as required, Development of PR and advertising plan, Market Intelligence on the Greek and Cypriot market; including monthly activity and market reports.
