Tender description

Scope of Work The work is to provide a new drinking water supply for grazing animals at Natural England's Barton Hills National Nature Reserve. This requires the installation of approximately 1km of water pipe, laid through fields and woodland and crossing Church Road. The contractor will also provide and install all the necessary fittings including the provision of 2 galvanised water troughs. Your tender should provide alternative methodology and costing to allow for the: a) Use of open trench installation with low ground pressure vehicles and equipment to avoid damage to both farmland and the nature reserve. b) Use of horizontal directional drilling techniques along the entire length.
