Essex County Council is seeking to engage with the market on the potential delivery of the Essex Equipment Contract. The current service in Essex supports integrated community equipment arrangements for the sourcing, delivery and fitting of community equipment, adaptations and aids to daily living in service users' homes. It facilitates social care services commissioned by ECC and Thurrock Council, as well as support for patients of a number of NHS organisations within Essex, enabling the discharge of patients from hospitals. The service is a county wide provision delivered by one provider, with sub contracted elements for major adaptations and pressure area care. A questionnaire has been developed as the first phase of engagement with potential providers and can be made available on request by emailing Nick.Green@Essex.gov.uk. Responses to the questionnaire will need to be emailed to Nick.Green@Essex.gov.uk not later than 12:00 on Friday 10.11.2017.
