Tender description
The Europe for Citizens Programme 2014 – 2020 is a European Commission programme which aims to raise citizen engagement in EU matters generally across the EU. Indicative activities include Familiarity with the Europe for Citizens Programme and particularly on the possible opportunities for funding that might become available to Ireland. Relationship building with the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency- the agency managing the Europe for Citizens Programme. Network actively with civil society/NGOs/Local Authorities and any other possibly interested parties to publicise and encourage Irish applications under the Europe for Citizens Programme. Providing advice to potential applicants to the programme with submission of applications forms, if requested. Maintaining a dedicated website and appropriate social media channels to publicise the Europe for Citizens Programme, publicising the website to maximise recognition/hits including via social media. Organising public events to promote the programme throughout Ireland. Providing a proposed programme of activities for approval by the Department in early 2018, 2019 and 2020 and reports at each year end.
