Tender description

The works are located through the townlands of Ballycomey, Clashduff Lower and Ballyhimmin on the N78, south of Castlecomer, county Kilkenny. The approximate total length of the scheme is 1.41km. The works are of a general civil engineering nature, consisting of site clearance, the inlay, milling/planning of the existing pavement to approximately 90mm depth (810m), and overlay of the existing pavement to an approximate depth of 115mm (600m), patch repairs, drainage works, accommodation works and other ancillary works.
