Integrating and Collaborating Health, Housing and Social Care is a key strategic priority for Dorset County Council, Purbeck District Council and our NHS Commissioners and Providers. Through bringing together One Public Estate activity, the estates and capital investment strategies of the NHS associated with the delivery of the Sustainability and Transformation Plan, and the neighbourhood plans of the District Councils, the local system wants to achieve the following objectives: Maximise use of public assets to deliver new and supported accommodation, and flexible key worker housing. Have a framework in place to support strategic partnerships for specific developments for the provision of a range of care and health accommodation and provision, including funding models. Secure partnerships that enable different funding models for the development of key worker housing. Dorset County Council and its partners aim to have in place a programme of developable sites within a timeframe that aligns with the aspirations of the relevant neighbourhood plans, and the Sustainability and Transformation plan. We are looking to partner with a range of social and institutional investors, registered providers, developers wishing to invest in innovative schemes for care and health accommodation and keyworker housing.
