Tender description

NIE Networks' Asbestos Management Plan, approved by the NIE Networks Health and Safety Management Committee (HSMC), requires all Asbestos Surveying and Monitoring requirements to be carried out by qualified surveyors and that sample analysis is carried out in UKAS accredited laboratories. Health and Safety Legislation mandates that this work is carried out to protect employees and others from the potentially deadly effects of inhaling asbestos fibres. NIE Networks has entered into a Framework Agreement (as a result of this tender competition) with a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor.
