Repair and maintenance services of building installations

Tender description

The V&A wishes to procure Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health Maintenance and Small Fabric Works Facility Management Services across various sites within the V&A estate including its South Kensington grade 1 listed building. The contract includes PPM, reactive maintenance, minor remedial works, and annual condition surveys. A 24/7/365 Helpdesk and CAFM support is required. The initial contract term is five years, with the scope to extend any number of times up to a further two years. Please note the advertised value is for the extended 84 month period and includes scope to extend to additional sites as and when they are added to the V&A estate. The form of contract shall be the CIOB. Applicants are required to demonstrate a turnover of not less than 5 000 000 GBP. Description of procurement: The Service Requirement is for a Performance Driven Facility Management Service where a single entity procures and provides a full range of Facility Management services for and on behalf of the client. The V&A reserves the right to include and exclude services, but the expected range of services may include the following: Building and Fabric Maintenance (Planned preventative maintenance; Reactive maintenance and minor remedial works; Contracts Management, On-site resources (Full time maintenance personnel, 24/7/365 Helpdesk and CAFM support); and Support Services (H&S, Environmental Management, Quality Assurance, CDM Principal Designer, CDM Principal Contractor).
