Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council) is looking to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of legal services for a range of different disciplines to support the work of the Council's own Legal Services team in supporting all directorates and key partner organisation in all legal matters as and when they arise. Advice and Representation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to Company Law and Commercial Law. Advice, representation and drafting of documentation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to Employment, Pensions, Human Resources and Industrial Relations. Advice and representation in respect of all aspects of Litigation. Advice and Representation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to Charities. Legal advice and assistance in relation to Property Law, including land and asset management matters. Advice and Representation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to Public, Corporate Governance and Information Law. Advice and Representation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to Housing, including social housing and associated issues. Advice and Representation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to Planning. Advice and Representation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to each specific subject, but not limited to Services provided in respect of: — Highways and other transport infrastructure; — Strategic transport infrastructure projects; — Traffic Regulation / Car parks; and — Public Rights of Way / Definitive Map Review. Advice and Representation in respect of all aspects of the law relating to Adult Social Services and Community Care. Advice and Representation in relation to the collection of Council tax in the undertaking of both legal work and insolvency practitioner work. Advice and Representation in relation to the collection of Business Rates in the undertaking of both legal work and insolvency practitioner work.
