Tender description

The Contracting Entity is undertaking a competitive tender process to establish a multi supplier framework agreement that will provision IT services and resources across Ervia, its subsidiaries and business units including: Gas Networks Ireland, Irish Water and its three Central Business Units, Group Centre, Shared Services, and Major Projects. It is the intention to appoint service providers to support the delivery of these requirements in the nine areas referenced below, each of which will constitute a separate lot. Lot 1 — IT Strategy and Architecture, Lot 2 — Project Management, Lot 3 — Applications (7 Sub-lots), Lot 4 — Infrastructure (5 Sub-lots), Lot 5 — Service Management, Lot 6 — IT Commercial Services, Lot 7 — Security, Lot 8 — Mobile software technologies, Lot 9 — Subject Matter Experts (7 Sub-lots). The purpose of this Lot is to provide resources to assist in the areas of IT Strategy and Architecture services including the areas of solutions and applications, technical, data, security and risk. The purpose of this Lot is to provide resources to operate in all phases of project delivery from initial concept to sign off and delivery. There are seven Sub-Lots within this Lot. The purpose of this Lot is to provide services and resources in support of the Applications currently in use within the Ervia organisation. There are five Sub-Lots within this Lot. The purpose of this Lot is to provide resources to support the organisation's Linux, Wintel and Citrix environments including Installation, Configuration, Maintenance and documentation of all processes. The purpose of this Lot is to provide resources to assist in the area of IT Service Management. The purpose of this Lot is to provide resources in the area of IT Commercial Services to include but not be limited to Software Licencing and Contract and Vendor Management.. The purpose of this Lot is to provide resources in the area of Security Consultancy. The purpose of this Lot is to provide resources in the area of Mobile Architecture Consultancy. There are seven Sub-Lots within this Lot. The purpose of this Lot is to provide resources in support of specific Applications currently in use within the Ervia Organisation.
