Tender description

This tender is to provide a: 1. Database to store the data. 2. Web based portal for entering, search/filter and reporting the data (member access). 3. Website display for hosting the latest results (open access). 4. Reporting. 5. Upload facility to get spreadsheets of data into the database or compatibility with existing AHDB-funded software ‘BADUT’ which is capable of undertaking this task. 6. Third party access to: i. Extract copies of the data for analysis, ii. Populate tables with new data. The main tender for database services relates to Signet's sheep services (Section 1 of specification) — which now constitute over 90 % of Signet's work. In addition to this sheep based activity, AHDB is interested in hearing from organisations capable of providing database services for Signet's beef clients (Section 2 of specification). Organisations tendering to provide services can therefore tender for Section 1, Section 2 or Sections 1 and 2.
