Tender description
Public Health England's recent publication, ‘Fit for the Future — public health people’ , a review of the public health workforce will inform the planned refresh of the Strategy and sets out a series of recommendations to achieve a workforce that can meet future public health challenges. The implementation phase has begun. The aim of the programme is to develop the level of knowledge, capability and experience within senior leadership teams, supporting sector-led improvement, and creating a pool of potential future candidates for the role of Directors of Public Health; Children's Services; Adult Services; etc. Participants must be interested in and have experience and proven potential to be ready to step up to a director level role in the next 1 to 3 years.
