This Market Sounding Exercise is not an invitation to tender or a request for formal expressions of interest. The Council, as contracting authority, is issuing this request for information only, in order to assess the reaction of the market and gain valuable knowledge from the market which will feed into the procurement process. Leeds City Council manages the delivery of Stairlifts and the delivery of Specialist Lifts on behalf of private residents (including privately rented and housing association properties) through Disabled Facilities Grants. Leeds City Council is currently developing a procurement strategy which will seek to appoint single Contractors to deliver the manufacture, supply and installation for Stairlifts and three contractors to deliver the manufacture, supply and installation for Specialist Lifts to private dwellings, including privately rented and housing association. For each work stream the Contractor will be required to deliver all of the following elements; (a) Manufacture (b) Supply (c) Install (d) Manage a re-use programme Keywords: adaptations, stairlift, disabled facilities grant
