Objectives are to deliver the project effectively and ensure that project completion and operational use is achieved by the 31st May 2017 and to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the key stakeholders, by ensuring full and proactive liaison before, during and after completion of the works. • To provide a delivery service based on the requirements within this Works Information and any consequent discussions / instructions. • To comply with all proposed designs, Technical and Legislative Standards, local authority planning and Building Regulations in force at the time of undertaking works. • To deliver the project. Mott MacDonald are acting as the Principal Designer on this project, and have produced a tender pack along with a suite of documents and drawings, which inform the basis of the specification and working instructions, dated 1 December 2016, to be carried out by the Contractor. Brief Overview The overall Scope of Works is outlined below. This should be read in accordance with all design information contained as appendices (Appendix C) to this document. The design appendices take precedence should there be any discrepancies: Ground Floor • Refurbishment of existing male and female toilets • Plaster and paint walls • Replace existing floor with vinyl non-slip flooring suitable for use within the designated area. • Installation of hygienic panelling • Replace ceiling tiles/grid • Replace lighting, toilets, sinks, radiators, and other fixtures • Allow for full redecoration and making good of all existing surfaces and woodwork on completion of the works • Refurbishment of existing kitchen facility • Replace existing flooring • Replace worktop, sink, kitchen units and ceiling tiles • Allow for full redecoration and making good of all existing surfaces and woodwork on completion of the works • Refreshment of existing accessible toilets • Removal of full height tiling • Plaster and paint walls • Installation
