Tender description
The Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute AFBI was created on 1.4.2006 as an amalgamation of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development DARD. Science Service and the Agricultural Research Institute of Northern Ireland ARINI. AFBI is a DARD Non-Departmental Public Body NDPB. AFBI carries out high technology research and development, statutory, analytical, and diagnostic testing functions for DARD and other Government departments, public bodies and commercial companies. AFBI are currently seeking to purchase mobile in field concentrate feed intake and behaviour monitoring equipment to be located at AFBI Hillsborough. The feed station must be suitable for a range of livestock weights from 75-800 kg and allow the assessment of individual concentrate intakes. The contract is for the purchase, delivery and installation of Mobile in-field Concentrate Feed stations.
