Tender for the Supply and Distribution of Fresh Meat

Tender description

Luton Borough Council is conducting an Open OJEU to establish a supplier to source and distribute a range of fresh meat provisions for Schools in and around the Borough of Luton. The appointed Supplier will source, cut to specification and distribute the supply of fresh meat to 65 establishments in and around the Borough of Luton. Luton Borough Council is seeking the most economically advantageous solution. Suppliers are invited to tender for: Lot 1 Non Halal Meat, Lot 2 Halal Meat (non-stunned) or both lots. Each establishment may have differing needs in service delivery, and therefore the supplier (s) will need to offer a degree of flexibility and tailoring to the service. Specific details will need to be discussed and agreed prior to commencement of the contract based on the particular needs of the establishment making use of the contract.
