Equipment required to equip 1st year physics lab n Mechanics, Optics & Electromagnetism. Mechanics: Kits of pendulums and springs, kits for free-fall experiments and kits to study collisions in a reduced-friction environment. Optics: Kits to study geometric optics, physical optics, precision interferometers and basic kit for in-class optics demonstration. Electromagnetism: Kits of electrostatics, kits to study basic circuits, RLC circuits, diodes, transistors and amplifiers, Hermoltz coils. Storage boxes/cabinet to keep material when not in use.
