Tender description

This framework shall be divided into lots and shall include the following: Dayworks, Fabrication, Street Weed Control, Fencing Furniture and Sport Posts, Cemetery Works, Minor Works, Park Upgrades (Small), Park Upgrades (Medium), Park Upgrades (Large), Arboriculture, Emergency Tree, Scrub, Vegetation control for bridges and watercourses, Planting, Hanging baskets, Artificial Pitch Maintenance. Roadside scrub clearance. Maintenance of artificial pitches. Labour and machinery rates for the provision of blacksmith, fabrication and welding services. Street weed control split into geographical areas. Contractors can bid for 1 or all areas providing they have suitable resources to meet the specification. Provision of rates to install fencing, furniture and sports posts, labour only and measured prices for commonly used items. Installation of concrete plinths and foundations, headstone stabilisation, lair levelling, turfing, footpath repairs and fencing works. Maintenance of trees to parks and open spaces. Clearance of fallen trees mainly from roads or footpaths, emergency call out is a requirement for this lot. In addition to chainsaw certificates Chapter 8 signing and guarding is a minimum requirement. Removal of vegetation from bridges and watercourses. Planting to a horticultural standard. Distribution and collection of hanging baskets. Installation and repairs to pathways, drainage, stonework and walls. Park and play area upgrades, split into small medium and large upgrades. Provision of Labour and machinery rates for grounds maintenance and landscaping activities.
